Benefits of Fasting

O you who believe! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard (against evil).

Benefits of Fasting
Muslims fast for one month when Ramadan arrives. They restrain eating, drinking and some other actions from sunrise until evening.
Fasting has many benefits for people and the society. Some of wich are mentioned here.
- Fasting makes us aware of how poor and indigent persons live.
- We are usually oblivious about some things that are always with us, but when we lose them we will be aware of their importance.
- By fasting we will know the value of water and foods that we think are cheap.
- Fasting burns the body's extra fat and surplus substance that have been saved in body. It improves our health.
- We learn patience and resisting life difficulties by tolerating starvation and thirst.
- Fasting improves health and also healing or prevents diseases.
- Some diseases that fasting is operative on them: blood pressure, overweight, MS, heart disease and so on.

also "Allaah" legislated fasting for gaining taqwaa ,,


and Taqwaa means to make a shield between oneself and Allaah’s anger and Hellfire ..

YEA YOU ARE RIGHT BROTHER.WHEN WE FAST, WE CAN FELL HOW POOR POEPLE SUFFER WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE FOOD, AND THIS ENCOURAGE US TO HEPL THOS POOR AND GIVE THEM FOOD AND MONEY.
