we gave the persecuted nation dominion over the easts and wests of the earth which we had blessed. so the word of your lord, the finest, was fulfilled for the children of israel because of their patience...

Easts and Wests
The blessed easts and wests of the earth!
Isn’t it questionable for you? How many east and west directions have we got?
In the location that you are standing, just one direction is your east and just one direction is your west. But if you imagine the east and west direction as straight lines, is east the same direction in your country as it is in mine?
I think we have understood the meaning of the easts and wests. We conclude that the earth has a lot of easts and wests.
Don’t any points attract your attention?
More than 1400 years ago the holy Quran told us the earth which has the easts and wests is spherical.
